AS SPAIN ANNOUNCES “BRITS ARE WELCOME”, THE TOURIST OFFICE LAUNCHES PROMOTIONAL VIDEO

22 June 2020: Further to the announcement confirming that Brits are now welcome in Spain as the country ends its “State of Alarm” and initiates its next phase of the “new normal”, the Spanish Tourist Office has today launched a new video to showcase the top 10 reasons to travel to Spain, claiming that “Spain Awaits You”.

The short video showcases scenes from around the country illustrating the main reasons why so many travellers of all ages, tastes and budges choose Spain as their holiday destination. Focusing on the weather, food, culture, history, nature and landscapes, hospitality, shopping, sport, quality and infrastructure, the video features some of Spain’s favourite locations which helped attract over 83 million visitors in 2019.

The video was created to spread the message that Spain is ready to receive British and international tourists and will do so with the same warmth and hospitality that it is known for. The video encourages viewers to start planning their holidays to the country, where they will find a wide and diverse tourist proposition that lives up to all expectations.

This new audio-visual content is available in Spanish and English and will be distributed through all of Spain’s social media channels via Spain.info (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube) with the hash tag ‘#SpainAwaitsYou.
