Harrods heads into 2013 with a touch of Spain

Galicia campaign in Harrods

January shoppers at London’s prestigious superstore Harrods, will be treated to a visual tourism campaign this month highlighting Spain’s northwest region of Galicia.

Galicia is probably best known for the pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela but the region also offers over 1000 miles of coastline and lush green countryside, described by The Daily Telegraph as “Spain’s secret corner”.

The visual destination campaign which runs throughout January 2013 will feature a range of photographic displays including the areas of A Coruña in the North and Vigo in the South, as well as the historic city of Santiago de Compostela.

The tourism campaign run by TurGalicia in collaboration with the Spanish Tourist Office hopes to raise the awareness of Galicia as a holiday destination and inspire visitors to want to find out more about Spain’s little known northwest corner.
