IBÉRICA’S LA TERRAZA BRINGS SOME AUTHENTIC SPANISH FLAVOUR TO CANARY WHARF FOR THE SUMMER

Last night saw guests welcomed to La Terraza in Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, to the sounds of Palma de Mallorca’s Puro Beach DJs.

La Terraza is a summer pop up by the people behind London’s Ibérica restaurants and the outdoor restaurant is sheltered by trees and peppered with fairy lights, creating a true sense of the Mediterranean in the heart of London’s business district.

Following its successful launch in summer 2013, La Terraza is open from brunch right through to dinner Monday to Saturday and until 6pm on Sundays until the end of the summer. The menu has been dreamt up by Ibérica’s executive chef, Nacho Manzano, and features everything from traditional tapas like tortilla and piquillo peppers stuffed with cod, to Basque pinchos such as baby squid with aioli and iberico ham with green pepper. Rain or shine, it promises to offer up some of the very best gourmet tapas and bespoke cocktails in London.

The lovely space is ideal for an after work drink or for spending a relaxed sunny afternoon and was designed by Catalan designer, Lázaro Rosa Violán, to really evoke the laid back, holiday vibe that is so apparent at an authentic Spanish outdoor terrace.
