IFEMA Plus launches Madrid Shopping Bus for business travellers

IFEMA, Madrid’s trade fair institution, has announced the launch of a brand new Madrid Shopping Bus tour aimed at business travellers visiting the Spanish capital.

IFEMA sees over 2.3 million business visitors to trade fairs, exhibitions and congresses in Madrid each year, many of whom are keen to make the most of their trip and experience a bit more of the city. IFEMA Plus was set up to make it easier for business visitors and exhibitors to get some added value when visiting Madrid by taking in some of the top culture, shopping and entertainment hotspots when the conference centres close their doors.

The programme has given rise to the launch of the Madrid Shopping Bus, set up in collaboration with Madrid Shopping Tour and Innova Tax Free. The Madrid Shopping Bus takes visitors direct from IFEMA - Feria de Madrid to the city’s hottest shopping spots for just €5 per person, departing at 18pm and 19.30pm. Associated shops offer special services and VIP treatment to customers with Shopping Bus passes and the service has Spanish, English, Chinese and Russian speaking staff.

The new bus service offers two different routes which take in some of Madrid’s most exclusive shopping areas. The first route explores the boutiques of the Salamanca district, while the second takes shoppers to Las Rozas Village for outlet shopping.
