Spanish Tourist Office re-launches www.spain.info

Today, the Spanish Tourist Office re-launches its official tourism website www.spain.info.

The new Spain.info

The new look site aims to respond to the needs of the visitor and become an essential tool for planning a holiday to Spain right through from the initial inspiration stage, to making bookings and sharing holiday experiences with other users.

The site offers a step-by-step plan to create the ideal holiday to Spain with more than 47,000 online references encompassing beaches, monuments, museums, culture, gastronomy and festivals.

In order to find the ideal holiday, the visitor is directed to answer some simple questions about what kind of holiday they are looking for, in terms of location and activity. There are also holiday suggestions based on the type of tourist (i.e. family, couple, LGBT etc) and geographical preferences.

The new design of www.spain.info has been formulated with the end user in mind, making it as easy as possible for visitors to find what they are looking for with the least amount of clicks. The fresh design uses block colours and offers a clean functional and modern layout.

As well as connecting to all major social channels, the new website allows each article or reference to be shared but also allows guests to share their experiences by uploading comments, images or videos, allowing other viewers to benefit and seek inspiration from real reader reviews.

For the first time, the site offers a booking function allowing users to book flights, trains and car rental as well as accommodation or activities, making it a one-stop-shop for travellers to Spain.

Finally, a range of useful Spain travel apps will also be listed to ensure everything has been taken care of ahead of departure.
