The Roca Brothers head to Latin America in search of emerging culinary talent

Ever since El Celler de Can Roca came top of the World's 50 Best Restaurants, fans and food lovers across the world have been eagerly anticipating the opening of new Roca Brothers restaurants in other countries. However, the brothers are keen to keep the restaurant in Girona and instead have decided to take their award-winning restaurant on a world tour.

Following their recent exclusive dinner at London's Hispania restaurant, the three brothers are set to embark on a tour of Latin America in August 2014 stopping in Mexico, Peru and Colombia to showcase the Michelin-starred restaurant's delicious dishes. During the tour they will be on the lookout for talented young chefs and will offer six of them the coveted opportunity to train at El Celler de Can Roca in Girona for four months.

In addition to the tour, the brothers have joined forces with Spanish financial institution BBVA to film a program called Haute Cuisine with Values. Whilst touring in Latin America Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca will be looking to work alongside local producers to uncover Latin America's finest ingredients.
