Manuel Butler, Director of the Spanish Tourist Office in the UK (Turespaña)

Butler has played a key role in Spanish tourism promotion for over 25 years. His extensive career includes serving as Counsellor at the Spanish Embassy in Berlin, Head of Turespaña in both Miami and Frankfurt, and Director General at Turespaña's headquarters in Madrid. He has also held the position of President of the European Travel Commission and returned to Turespaña in London after three years as Executive Director of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Under his leadership, the Spanish Tourist Office in London successfully re-established Spain as Britain’s top tourism destination following the pandemic. A passionate advocate for sustainable and accessible travel, Butler is committed to ensuring that his tourism strategy focuses on long-term sustainability.

Richard Hammond, Publishing Director, Green Traveller Media

Richard is the Founder and Publishing Director of Green Traveller Media where he manages a network of freelance writers, photographers and videographers to promote sustainable and regenerative tourism. He is an experienced videographer and has worked with tour operators, hoteliers and tourist boards to produce over 100 videos. For over 20 years, Richard has held a variety of roles in the media, including editor-in-chief of TravelMole, eco travel correspondent for the Guardian, and has written articles for a range of publications, including National Geographic, FT, Telegraph, The Times, and The Sunday Times. His book 'The Green Traveller', was published in 2022 by HarperCollins.

Mateu Hernández, General Director, Turisme de Barcelona

Mateu Hernández is an expert in urban and economic development, leading public and private organizations focused on cities, the visitor economy, and creativity. He is currently the CEO of Visit Barcelona / Turisme de Barcelona. Previously, he was the first CEO of Barcelona Global, a nonprofit with over 1,000 members aiming to make Barcelona one of the best cities globally for talent and economic activity. He has also been the International Director at Casa Batlló.

Pedro Homar, MD Turismo Palma de Mallorca 365

Pedro Homar is head of Fundació Turisme Palma 365, a public-private body that acts as the destination marketing organization for the municipality of Palma. FTPM365 currently has two public trustees (the city council and the port) and 15 private trustees, representing the four main sectors of tourist activity: transport (air and sea), accommodation, tour operators, and specialized tourist offerings. Homar has more than 19 years of experience leading marketing and communication strategies and 11 years in positions of international responsibility and work experience in Europe and Latin America, managing transnational teams of up to 40 people.

Matt Callaghan, COO, easyJet holidays

Matt is easyJet holidays’ Chief Operating Officer and member of the management board, responsible for all aspects of customer experience and business operations as well as the development and implementation of the easyJet holidays sustainability strategy, ‘Holiday Better’. As part of this, Matt has implemented a partnership with UN Tourism to help develop the first environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework for tourism businesses, co-designing a measurement tool that is meaningful and feasible for better monitoring how tourism businesses impact, and depend on, people, planet and prosperity.

Ian Corbett, Head of Sustainability, TUI

Ian is Head of Sustainability for TUI Group, which serves 21 million customers in 180 regions worldwide and is one of the world's leading global tourism platform companies. Sustainable tourism is a key feature of its corporate culture and has been for more than 20 years. Ian works as part of the global sustainability team, with a particular focus on accelerating TUI’s shift to a more circular business model and on empowering its consumers for the green transition. Ian holds a law degree from the University of Sheffield and has worked in the tourism industry for over 25 years.

José Guillermo Díaz Montañés, Founder&CEO Artiem Hotels

Montañés has been the Executive Director of Artiem Fresh People Hotels since 1993. Alongside this role, he has actively contributed to various tourism and business associations, including Menorca Tourism Promotion, the Balearic Institute of Tourism, the Menorca Hotels Association, and the Hotels Association of Spanish Touristic Areas. In 2004, he founded and served as President of the Technological Hotel Institute until 2008. In 2007, he led the Innovation Area working group within the Spanish Tourism Plan Horizonte 2020. In 2018, he assumed the presidency of the Tourism Technology Platform (THINKTUR), and in December 2022, he was appointed a member of the Spanish Tourism Council (CONESTUR).

With a career that spans over 40 years in the travel industry, across various sectors, Tricia has grown and developed the InteleTravel homeworking business from its infancy into an award-winning brand in 6 just years. Now a global leader in the homeworking arena, the business model introduced by InteleTravel, once seen as a disruptor, now sees other agencies adopting the same approach. The business continues to go from strength to strength, having delivered its best year on record via its 30,000 agent network.

Daniel Pearce, CEO TTG Media

Daniel Pearce is CEO and owner of TTG Media, the award-winning, B Corp-certified media business delivering results for the travel industry in the UK and beyond through media platforms including ttgmedia.com and TTG and TTGLuxury magazines. With a career spanning almost three decades in the media, Daniel joined TTG as Editor in 2010, before moving to brand director in 2012 and mounting a management buy-out and setting up independent business TTG Media in 2013. In April 2019 the business rebranded under a new vision to promote a ‘Smarter, Better, Fairer’ travel industry – while in December 2023 it attained B Corp status underlining its belief in prioritizing people and the planet alongside profit.

José María Moncada Durruti, CEO founder La Bolsa Social and Vicepresident of SpainNAB

José founded Bolsa Social in 2015, an investment platform for social impact companies and investors, the first authorized by the CNMV in Spain, with 12,000 members, which has financed 50 social impact companies worth 14 million euros in sustainable agriculture, vulnerable groups, care for the elderly and dependent, sustainable consumption, education, sustainable mobility, circular economy, sustainable construction or development aid. Previously, he worked in financial policy at the Public Treasury (Madrid), the European Commission (Brussels) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA, Paris).

Angel Pérez Agenjo, Founder and Managing Partner, Trascendent

After a 20-year corporate career in the pharmaceutical industry, in 2018 he founded Transcendent, a strategic sustainability and impact consulting firm that supports companies from multiple sectors and asset managers in responding to social and environmental challenges transforming them into business opportunities. He is a visiting professor at various universities, a mentor for social entrepreneurs and a BCorp multiplier.

In July 2020, he was appointed General Director of the Spanish Tourism Institute - Turespaña and in June 2023 he was appointed President of the European Travel Commission (ETC).
