TENERIFE’S LORO PARQUE OPENS ‘AQUA VIVA’ EXHIBITION

The environmentally-friendly zoological park in Tenerife, Loro Parque, has opened ‘Aqua Viva’, a 500 square metre exhibit featuring several aquariums filled with hundreds of jellyfish. The exciting new exhibition also features a jellyfish breeding aquarium where visitors can find out more about these curious creatures. There is also a new tropical aquarium filled with blacktip and whitetip reef sharks along with a number of other tropical fish.

The new exhibition adds to the zoo’s already extensive exhibits intended to immerse visitors into diverse habitats where they are able to explore the variety of species living there. Among these are Loro Parque’s seven themed water exhibits, a replica of the Antarctic habitat home to four different species of penguin, a real orchid garden and Katandra Treetops – an impressive aviary with beautiful birds from all over Australia and Asia.
