Spain's Commitment to Accessible Travel Reaches WTM London

STO transparent

The Spanish Tourist Office (UK) is delighted to announce that Spain will become the first-ever official Accessibility Partner of WTM London, taking place at ExCeL London from 3–5 November 2026.

As a country, Spain continues to make accessible travel one of its top priorities. As WTM London's first accessibility partner, the Spanish Tourist Office will use the event to present its new campaign, ‘Spain, a Country for All’.

The campaign builds on Spain for All, the initiative created by the Spanish Tourist Office in the UK to eradicate discrimination in the tourism sector and make Spain a world-leading inclusive destination, where everyone can enjoy its hospitality and culture with autonomy, dignity and confidence. At its heart is an advisory board of 20 experts and leaders from the UK and Spanish travel industries, many with lived experience of disability, who share knowledge and celebrate good practice across the sector.

With this expertise, Spain wants its work to reach bigger audiences, moving the conversation on accessible travel from awareness to practical action and measurable change, and inspiring other countries and destinations to follow.

Accessibility action at WTM London 2026

  • Members of the Spain for All advisory board will take to the Headliner Stage on Wednesday 4 November at 1.45pm for the panel Who Decides What's Accessible? Reframing Travel Around Informed Choice, and will play an active role in the WTM Leaders' Summit.

  • A dedicated press conference at 3pm on Tuesday 3 November will showcase Spain's new campaign and key initiatives, and outline a roadmap for industry-wide action.

  • The partnership will extend across the show floor, with accessibility support built into the venue itself.

  • WTM will continue its commitment to governance on accessibility through a newly appointed steering group.

These join the accessibility measures already in place at WTM London, including accessible seating and ramps at conference sessions, closed captions, real-time transcripts through Rozie AI, WTM Reset Rooms for visitors who need a calm break from the show floor, and Accessibility Buddy Tours to help visitors find their way around.
