Cooking up a Storm – the Roca Brothers in London

For one night only, the Roca Brothers from Celler de Can Roca – voted the World’s Best Restaurant in 2013 – demonstrated their extraordinary skills in the London restaurant Hispania as they cooked in the UK for the first time for a select group of leading UK food and drink editors and journalists.

After preparing and serving their retrospective menu with some of their most famous signature trompe-l’oeil dishes from the last few years including:  Escudella de Bacalao (1999), Parmentier de pulpitos (2000), Ostra al cava (2006), Lenguado Mediterráneo (2008), Vainilla (2009), Cochinillo al Riesling (2010) and Nuvol de Llimona (2010), the diners gave the chefs a resounding ovation for the perfect execution of the dinner.

Hispania in Lombard Street, London, is the latest addition to the exciting growing Spanish restaurant scene in London.
