THE SPANISH TOURIST OFFICE ANNOUNCES SHORTLIST FOR SPAIN’S SUSTAINABLE MEDIA AWARDS

The Spanish Tourist Office (UK) has confirmed the shortlist for Spain’s Sustainable Media Awards 2024.

The awards will be held at The Conduit (6 Langley St, London WC 2H 9JA) in Covent Garden on Wednesday 17 April 2024, following Spain’s Sustainability Day which features important discussion and debate on key issues relating to the travel industry and sustainability.

The awards will celebrate the best travel content about Spain by UK writers showcasing themes which correspond to Spain’s sustainable tourism pillars such as seasonal or geographic diversification, forming a connection with local people and cultures, visiting lesser visited areas and taking part in low-impact activities such as cycling and walking, as well a travelling by train and other forms of public transport.

Sustainable travel is at the heart of our strategy here at the Spanish Tourist Office and we are impressed by the level and quality of the submissions addressing key responsible tourism topics”.

The awards ceremony will also feature one special award, presented by Wanderlust Magazine.
