Experience authentic Spanish tapas with José Pizarro at this year’s Hay Festival for just £5!

José Pizarro

With the Hay Festival fast approaching, Spanish chef José Pizarro is putting the last preparations in place for gastro pop-up Tapas España by José Pizarro; a unique food emporium that will be found nestled between the books and crowds of the Hay Festival.

Tapas España by José Pizarro has been created by José Pizarro in collaboration with the Spanish Tourist Office. The pop-up can be found at the Hay Festival from 23rd May to 2nd June. The dishes have been designed to showcase the diversity of Spanish cuisine whilst taking advantage of as much local produce as possible. The menu will change daily depending on the best ingredients available at the market that morning.

José is giving all guests of the Hay Festival the opportunity to sample a delicious tapa and a glass of one of his favourite wines sourced from Spanish regions including Andalucía, Cataluña, Galicia and the Basque Country for just £5. The pop-up will be located next to the Digital Stage (please see map below).
