FERIA DE LONDRES RETURNS FOR ITS THIRD EDITION

The Feria de Londres returns to the capital for its third edition, running from 24 May until 26 May 2019. Inspired by southern Spain’s traditional spring fairs, the Feria de Londres is a place for all ‘hispanophiles’ to come together and celebrate the best of Spanish cuisine and entertainment.

The fair will take place in Bernie Spain Gardens where the scenes of world-famous ferias such as those of Malaga and Sevilla will be recreated. Festival-goers are encouraged to immerse themselves in the vibrancy and panache of Spanish culture by enjoying the many entertainers performing pulsating flamenco dances in traditional Andalucían attire or kickback and listen to the soothing melodies of classical Spanish guitar players. The Feria de Londres also features enticing family-friendly activities such as face painting, hair styling, and arts and crafts designed to give even the youngest attendees a taste of Mediterranean life.

Tasty tapas, colourful seafood paella and a number of other Iberian delicacies will be served from the bright ‘casetas’ lining the banks of the Thames. Tio Pepe, London Paella School, Camino, Brindisa, and Churros Garcia are just some of the many Spanish caterers setting up shop and serving their own little slice of Spanish cuisine. Iberico ham, tortillas, gazpacho and churros, all to be washed down with ice-cold Iberian beers, moreish Andalusian cocktails, regional wines and the finest glasses of Fino sherry.

The three day festival will also feature masterclasses and tasting sessions in a unique event that invites Londoners and tourists alike to experience first-hand the warmth, vitality and exuberance of Spanish culture. Admission is free and provides the perfect way for families and groups of all ages to celebrate all things Andalucían.
