Food and Travel Magazine’s Essential Spain guide

Monday 3 June saw the launch of Food and Travel Magazine’s fantastic new “Essential Spain – top 100 experiences” guide. Distributed with the July issue of Food and Travel, the new guide features 50 pages packed with the very best food and wine experiences across Spain and is the perfect source of inspiration for any foodie.

From the rich fabadas of Asturias and the filling bocadillos de calamares in Madrid, to zingy papas con mojo in the Canary Islands and Michelin-starred pintxos in the Basque Country, the booklet is packed to bursting with mouthwatering ideas.

Designed as a collaboration between Food and Travel Magazine’s expert writers and the Spanish Tourist Office’s inside knowledge, the guide traverses the whole gamut of Spanish gastronomy, taking in regional produce, markets, wines, deserts, seafood, acclaimed chefs and the country’s very best culinary encounters.

100 lucky subscribers to Food and Travel Magazine were treated to some of the delicious tastes from the guide at a special reader event on Monday, when the guide was launched officially at Pizarro in London’s Bermondsey. 

Food and Travel Magazine’s deputy editor, Alicia Miller, rightfully commented, “this 100-point bucket list is only the tip of the iceberg – get out to Spain yourself, and get eating” and we very much hope it will inspire people to do just that.
