NEW BRIDGE AT THE CAMINITO DEL REY

In 2025, Spain’s famed Caminito del Rey in Andalucia is set to unveil a significant enhancement: the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the country, measuring 110 meters in length.

This addition aims to elevate the visitor experience by providing a more thrilling and accessible route through the El Chorro The bridge will span 110 meters and be suspended approximately 50 meters above the gorge floor.

Work commenced in March 2025, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the trail's reopening and the 120th anniversary of its original completion. The bridge is expected to reopen to the public by November 2025.
