UK Tour Operators Launch New Products in Canary Islands

The Canary Islands continue to shine as one of Europe’s most versatile and inspiring holiday destinations, and UK tour operators are expanding their offerings to meet growing demand. From slow-travel adventures and scenic rail journeys to classic beach escapes and curated cultural itineraries, travellers now have more ways than ever to explore Spain’s Atlantic archipelago.

BYWAY MAKES ITS DEBUT IN THE CANARY ISLANDS

Slow-travel specialist Byway has introduced its first journeys to the Canary Islands, offering a flight-free adventure that blends culture, coast and island landscapes. Travellers begin their journey by train through the historic city of Roman Nîmes, before continuing south to Cádiz, one of Europe’s oldest ports. From there, an overnight ferry transports guests to Lanzarote, where volcanic scenery and coastal villages set the tone for a relaxed island escape. On the return leg, the route pauses for a two-night stay in Zaragoza, an often-overlooked Spanish gem known for its dramatic basilica, art scene and Aragonese cuisine. The itinerary showcases Byway’s signature approach to low-impact, multi-stop travel.

JET2HOLIDAYS LAUNCHES HOLIDAY PACKAGES TO LA PALMA

Coinciding with the start of Jet2’s new direct flights to La Palma, Jet2holidays has unveiled a fresh portfolio of accommodation on the island. Travellers can now choose from a range of 2–4-star hotels across La Palma’s most scenic resorts, including Los Cancajos, Puerto Naos and Tazacorte. Known as La Isla Bonita for its lush forests, black-sand beaches and star-studded skies, La Palma offers a quieter, more nature-focused alternative to its larger neighbours—making the new packages a welcome addition for walkers, families and winter-sun seekers.
